Sensors play an enabling role for any imaging or sensing application. This is true across all applications and industries including medical, non-destructive testing, and security. Koftech has the expertise in sensor selection, integration, and optimization against criteria such as performance, robustness, and price. We work with a range of sensors to measure signals over a wide range of wavelengths ranging from visible light to x-rays, along with sensors to measure parameters like motion and velocity which are essential to correct for related imaging distortions.

Once a sensor produces a signal, it’s typical for the signal to go through multiple processing stages before it’s useful.Koftech has the expertise to build mathematical models to optimize the signal processing pipeline.

Our expertise cover areas including filtering, gain and offset corrections, anti-aliasing and sampling. Our mathematical models allow us to test different configurations for the data acquisition front-end and avoid costly redesigns.

After digitization, we have extended digital signal processing experience with filters to perform tasks including boosting signal to noise ratio, outlier detection and rejection, and multi-sensor fusion.
